How can I check if the fees charged are correct?

After a number of requests: including one from our company, HMCS released copies of the agreed charges that can be made by each of these 3 companies when enforcing Distress Warrants. This information has been broken down for not only each company; but each regional area that the individual company is representing . The scale of fees is applicable from 1st January 2008.

It is important to note that the fees are different for each firm of bailiffs and they include charges for the following:

• Clamping order 1st visit.
• Clamping order 2nd visit.
• Clamping order 3rd visit.
• Charge for removing clamp.
• Charge to remove vehicle to the Pound.
• Fee for unauthorised removal or loss of clamp.
• Auction fees.
• Debit & Credit card surcharges.
• Fees for dishonored cheques.
