How can I check if the bailiff
fees are correct?
By visiting the Bailiffs Fees section
of our Downloads area, you
will see that we have provided you with a copy of the up to date
scale of fees that the bailiff can legally
charge when collecting arrears of Business Rates (NNDR).
We have also provided details of all other Bailiff
Fees to include Council Tax, Parking Charge Notices (PCN's) Congestion
Charges, Magistrates Court Fines and Child Support Agency arrears
etc.
How do I complain about the bailiff or the fees?
If you wish to complain about the fees that you have been charged,
you should first apply for a detailed breakdown of all
of the fees and charges made to you. The Bailiff Company must,
by law, provide this. This request is referred to as a Subject
Access Request (S.7) which is pursuant to Section 7 of the Data
Protection Act 1998.
In the Letters section of our Downloads
area you will see that we have provided a draft Subject Access
Request that can be adapted to suit your own particular circumstances,
which also requests details of the Bailiff’s Certificate.
How do I complain?
You will see on our Front Page that we have provided a section
entitled: How to Complain which should
answer any queries that you may have.
