Transport for London ANPR
A number of bailiff companies are now using ANPR equipped vehicles
to detect cars that have unpaid parking tickets. This is now a
very common occurrence in and around London.
Transport for London is currently
using a system called ANPR Roadside Filter Operations. The fees
that bailiffs can charge if your vehicle has been detected by
this are very high indeed. By visiting the Transport

area you will see that we have provided a copy of these fees and
a description of what they relate to.
You should also be aware that if you have 3 or more unpaid Congestion
Charge notices, your vehicle can now be located using ANPR technology.
You will need to refer to our section on Congestion Charges for
more details on this, but again, you will see under the above
section in our Downloads area that
we have provided the fee scale applicable to this.
If you think that you have been overcharged, you will also see
in our Letters section of the Downloads
area that we have provided a letter that can adapted to suit your
own particular circumstances that can be sent to both the Bailiff
Company and Transport for London.
